Is it suitable for dark skin?

Yes, we have the latest technology enabling us to treat fair, olive and dark skin types.

How does it work?

DIODE LASER=uses single wavelengths applying laser energy directly in the melanin of the hair follicle, then the hair will be reduced or not regrow. This laser is a great treatment as results will vary as each person depending on age, any illness(if any) medication health issues, skin color and hair type. Approximately 6-8 sessions are required.  This treatment is pleasantly comfortable. 

INTENSE PULSE LIGHT=  produces a beam of highly concentrated light that is attracted to melanin which is found in the hair.  As the melanin absorbs the light it produces heat which causes thermal destruction of the follicle tissue. Again depending on each persons health issues (if any). Approximately 6-8 sessions required. This treatment is fairly comfortable.

IPL PHOTO REJUVENATION= also can treat the concerns of pigmentation, broken capillaries, uneven skin tone, blemishes, a multifunctional system that is recommended to be the best treatment for these skin conditions. Approximately 4-5 sessions required every 3 weeks.  Once again depending on each individual. This treatment is fairly comfortable.  Maintenance is sometimes required.

What areas can be treated?

Most areas of the face and body can be successfully treated. The most common areas for treatment for women are the face underarms and the bikini line. Whereas men prefer treatment on the back, chest, shoulders, between the eyebrows, upper cheeks area.   Laser treatment can also quickly cover large body areas like legs and forearms.

Is it permanent?

In my opinion 80-90% of hair is gone. Treatments can vary with each individual again depending on there health status, but overall the treatments are fantastic and clients are always satisfied with results. Always remember that maintenance is sometimes required, although not as frequent of course.

Is it safe?

Yes, with 18 years of laser experience our therapists have the added ability of determining what's best for our clients.  Upon consultation we will determine your suitability. We also take the time to shave you before treatment, making sure treatment is done correctly & accurately.

We recommend that you do not shave, pluck or wax whilst having treatments, as it may reduce the results of treatment.
